REFLECTION
Experience
My experience throughout the whole semester for typography was stressful, challenging, but the fun aspect of it out-weights the cons. As this is just my first semester in TDS, i'm not quite sure what to expect, form the learning environment, the lecturers, the tasks and assignments, i was completely blank. Going further into the semester i found that TDS is really my passion, i got excited by the assignments tasked, all the modules and typography is one of them. I could say that i'm quite adaptable as after the first task of typography, i easily adapted to all the challenges that came after as initially i face a minor difficulty keeping up with Mr.Vinod's e-portfolio requirements having a high level of detail. Eventually, i am quite proud of all the assignments bombarded at me being compiled and organized cleanly in this e-portfolio. This module has taught me several real life application assignments which for me is quite interesting knowing how certain things are made up.
Observations
This typography module has taught me to observe all the minor details being in the typography aspects or even all other areas of design. Initially i thought typography was only about fonts and would be boring, turns out all the assignments assigned were fun and gradually getting more and more intense. Secondly, due to this module, my observation power for the e-portfolio increased as i've stated earlier, due to our perfectionist lecturer. Lastly, i've observed how important typography is in our daily life as it is seen literally everywhere around us.
